Undergraduate Research Scholars Program

The University of Florida University Research Scholars Program (URSP) offers students a comprehensive entry into the campus-wide research enterprise at UF, the top research institution in the state. Students will learn about the breadth of research being conducted across campus in an introductory course called Research and Creativity at UF. Students will then have a choice of Course Based Undergraduate Research classes in which they will assist faculty in their research in a small group setting. After successfully completing these two steps, students will work with the Center for Undergraduate Research Peer Mentors to find a faculty research mentor for a one-on-one mentored research experience. Program participants will have travel and presentation opportunities to present their research. Upon completion of University Research Scholar requirements, Scholars will be recognized at graduation.
